As the Card Data and Analytics - Data Owner Lead, you will join the Card Data and Analytics team to manage all data created, provisioned, or consumed for card products. You are responsible for ensuring data quality, safety, and integrity while collaborating with product owners and technology leads as a member of the QUAD. Your daily work involves creating development plans for analytics and reporting, identifying critical data scope, documenting metadata, and defining requirements for new data products. You will partner with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions and mitigate risks regarding protection and retention. The role requires expertise in data management, pipelines, modeling, architecture, and governance. Required skills include experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, or Snowflake, alongside a strong understanding of Agile methodologies within the credit card domain.

What you'll do

  • Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support business objectives, analytics, and reporting.
  • Identify and document the scope, meaning, and metadata classification of critical data within the product.
  • Define requirements for new data products and coordinate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
  • Develop processes to monitor and mitigate risks related to data protection, retention, storage, and quality.
  • Ensure all data management practices comply with firmwide policies regarding integrity and security.
  • Manage project workstreams and track KPIs to ensure successful delivery of data milestones.
  • Lead direct or matrixed staff to execute specific data-related tasks and technical requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree (preferred).
  • 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
  • Subject matter expertise in business or product data, data management, engineering, pipelines, modeling, architecture, and governance.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google, or Azure, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, or Snowflake.
  • Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior audiences clearly and confidently.
  • Understanding of Agile technological development methodology; Credit Card domain knowledge and experience building/deploying data products (preferred).
