As the Data Owner Lead, Home Lending Originations, VP, you will lead the end-to-end data strategy for the Home Lending Originations team by aligning partners across Product, Data, and Technology. You will also leverage technical skills in SQL, Athena, Hadoop, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to improve data quality. What you'll do

  • Define and drive the end-to-end data strategy and product roadmap for Home Lending Originations.
  • Translate business outcomes into specific data product requirements, delivery plans, and measurable success metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate data into analytics platforms for improved decision-making.
  • Curate and harmonize data from multiple sources to improve consistency and usability.
  • Establish and enforce governance practices to ensure data is discoverable, reliable, secure, and analytics-ready.
  • Manage data risks and ensure compliance with all risk and control expectations across the data lifecycle.
  • Drive the adoption of modern data standards and continuous improvement of data quality and operational processes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Significant experience in data-focused roles with demonstrated leadership partnering across product and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead delivery across multiple workstreams with competing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Strong command of product/business data and processes to frame priorities around customer outcomes and risk reduction.
  • Working knowledge of data management, governance, big data platforms, data architecture, and SQL.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and iterative development.
