Capacity Analyst L5, Fleet Planner

What you'll do

• Own the multi-year fleet refresh plan for global hardware including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
• Translate engineering roadmaps and business priorities into coherent long-term fleet plans and capacity strategies.
• Convert demand forecasts into actionable capacity plans to drive investment decisions and balance infrastructure availability.
• Conduct data-driven analyses to optimize efficiency, spend, and architectural direction for platform scalability.
• Lead hardware procurement planning to ensure supply meets demand without over-provisioning.
• Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership through smarter fleet composition and decommissioning strategies.
• Track fleet health metrics such as utilization, age distribution, and failure rates to drive continuous optimization.
• Present fleet planning roadmaps and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in capacity planning for data center or cloud platforms, or network planning.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to tailor messaging for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to turn ambiguous, cross-functional problems into structured plans with incomplete data.
• Technical Program Management experience (preferred).
• A degree in Management Information Systems, Management Consulting, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
