Business Technology Manager Senior, Kubernetes Caas Platform

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day operations for enterprise Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms.
• Maintain highly resilient, secure, and scalable containerized infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Execute seamless, zero-downtime Day-2 operations including Kubernetes minor and major version rollouts.
• Enforce container security best practices, image scanning, runtime security, and vulnerability management.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, container runtime environments, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with DevOps teams.
• Manage resource requests, limits, and scaling to prevent cluster over-provisioning and minimize costs.
• Serve as the escalation lead for production cluster outages and establish root cause analysis workflows.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements for engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 8 years of industry experience is typically required.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• 10+ years in technology with extensive experience leading Container Platform Operations teams (preferred).
• 10+ years of expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and platform engineering domains (preferred).
• Strong background in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevOps tooling like Helm, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitOps.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem solutions like OpenShift or bare-metal Kubernetes.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS) strongly preferred; Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) a plus.
