Software Engineering Group Manager, Kubernetes CaaS Platform

What you'll do

• Define the roadmap and strategy for Kubernetes-based container platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable containerized infrastructure.
• Translate market requirements into technical specifications for container runtime, security, and orchestration.
• Establish standards and best practices for CI/CD pipelines, microservices deployment, and system observability.
• Enforce container security best practices including image scanning, runtime security, and policy enforcement.
• Partner with DevOps and networking teams to optimize infrastructure-as-code and container environments.
• Manage cluster efficiency and resource allocation to minimize costs while meeting performance SLAs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams to promote the adoption of container platforms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in technology with extensive experience leading Container Platform Engineering teams is preferred.
• 10+ years of expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and platform engineering domains is preferred.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry-relevant experience.
• Experience in Agile software development environments and managing cross-functional teams is required.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS) are strongly preferred.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are preferred.
