The Business Intelligence and Infrastructure Analysts Intern joins a team focused on developing scalable analytics solutions and reusable data products. In this role, you will collect, clean, validate, and analyze business data to create intuitive visualizations and dashboards that communicate actionable insights. You will work in an Agile environment to translate stakeholder needs into analytical requirements while establishing data-quality and governance practices. The daily workflow involves identifying opportunities for automation and AI integration to improve reporting processes. To succeed, you must possess strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required tools and technologies include Python, SQL, and Excel, with preferred experience in Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, and UX/UI principles for dashboards. This position focuses on solving complex data processing challenges through automation and structured reporting.
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze business data to ensure accuracy.
Develop dashboards and reports that communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Use Python and SQL to automate data preparation and analysis processes.
Support the creation of scalable analytics solutions and reusable data products.
Establish data-quality and governance practices for organizational data.
Translate stakeholder needs into specific analytical requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting through automation and AI tools.
Document data sources, analytical methods, and business definitions.
What we're looking for
Must be a full-time student at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Must have no more than 24 months of professional work experience related to the role (excluding internships, teaching assistantships, research, or military service).
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Must have working knowledge of Excel, Python, and SQL for data analysis and automation.
Must be able to communicate analytical findings clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience developing dashboards in Power BI (preferred).
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools, data governance principles, Agile methodologies, UX/UI principles, and automating repetitive tasks (preferred).
