The Business Analyst: AI & Automation joins the AI Solutions & Enablement team to bridge the gap between business units and technical architects. This role involves partnering with stakeholders to uncover objectives, documenting current-state processes, and translating needs into testable requirements, user stories, and process flows. You will define solution paths, manage AI governance standards, and design test plans for probabilistic AI outputs and automated workflows. Key responsibilities include quantifying business value, facilitating working sessions, and ensuring production readiness. Required skills include experience with workflow automation tools like UiPath, MSPP, Dataverse, and SharePoint, alongside AI platforms such as Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, and AWS Bedrock. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in process mapping, SQL for data validation, and requirements traceability within the context of enterprise automation and generative AI.
Document current-state processes and quantify business value, volume, effort, and cycle times.
Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, user stories, and process flows.
Evaluate solution options with architects while identifying data quality, compliance, and risk constraints.
Define requirements and control standards for AI governance and production readiness.
Design and execute test plans for AI solutions, including evaluation sets and human review.
Test automated workflows end-to-end, including exception handling and failure paths.
Gather information for governance reviews and contribute to training materials and change communications.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
Associate's degree in computer science or related field with 2 years of relevant work experience.
High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.
7 years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements and delivering technology solutions in partnership with business stakeholders and technical teams (preferred).
Working familiarity with workflow and process automation technologies and AI platforms (preferred).
Strong process analysis and documentation skills, including process mapping and requirements traceability.
Working familiarity with AI and GenAI capabilities and automation capabilities (preferred).
Hands-on test design and execution experience, including user acceptance testing and defect management.
Comfort with data, including reading data models and writing SQL or using analytics tooling.
Strong facilitation and influence skills to communicate with both field supervisors and solution architects.
