The Solution Architect: AI & Automation joins the AI Solutions & Enablement team to develop platforms, guardrails, and solutions that improve organizational effectiveness through artificial intelligence and enterprise automation. This role involves designing scalable, secure architectures across AI, automation, integration, and data while maintaining reference architectures and reusable components. You will evaluate platforms, provide technical guidance to internal teams and vendor partners, and create templates or starter kits for engineers and data scientists. Key technologies include Azure, AWS, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and various API and integration services. You must apply MLOps knowledge, security fundamentals, and governance standards to manage risks in unattended automations. The work focuses on translating business needs into practical engineering designs that ensure reliability, auditability, and operability across the enterprise.
Design solutions using a mix of AI, automation, integration, and data architectures.
Maintain reference architectures, reusable components, and standard patterns for AI/ML and process automation.
Translate business needs into scalable, secure designs for internal teams and vendor partners.
Evaluate AI and automation platforms against enterprise criteria to identify gaps and standardize capabilities.
Create templates, starter kits, and reusable repositories to reduce friction for engineers and data scientists.
Apply responsible AI standards and security controls through architecture reviews and checklists.
Review vendor architectures, code, and technical deliveries for alignment with internal standards.
Provide hands-on technical guidance to resolve delivery blockers and strengthen production solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is required.
6 years of relevant work experience is required.
Experience contributing to the design of enterprise solutions across more than one capability, including AI/ML, process automation, integration, or data.
Experience with enterprise AI, automation, integration, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, Microsoft Power Platform, and Copilot.
Experience applying or contributing to tool selection criteria, reference patterns, and solution blueprints used by other teams.
Strong AI/ML workflow and practical MLOps knowledge, plus working experience with enterprise automation and integration patterns.
Security and governance fundamentals applied to AI and automated systems, including experience reviewing vendor technical deliverables.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across business, technical, and vendor teams.
