What you'll do

  • Operate and maintain IP-based broadcast systems in transmission operation centers.
  • Deploy to remote event sites for setup, validation, and live engineering support.
  • Engineer end-to-end IP media workflows including video routing and encoding.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time technical issues during live events.
  • Evaluate emerging IP broadcast technologies and guide infrastructure improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems and procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive hands-on broadcast engineering experience in live events or similar media environments.
  • Experience operating/supporting multiple broadcast platforms like Imagine, Evertz, TAG, Providius, EVS, AWS Elemental, Ateme, Appear, Nimbra.
  • Strong knowledge of IP media transport technologies including SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS IS-04/05, JPEG-XS, SRT, AES67 and Dante.
  • Understanding of IP networking in broadcast context, including multicast, PTP/IEEE 1588, VLANs, QoS, IGMP.
  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure in a broadcast or media environment.
  • Comfortable administering, troubleshooting Linux/macOS systems used in broadcast operations.
