As a BMC Remedy/Helix Developer on the NESD Helix engineering team, you will provide technical guidance on application and integration capabilities while managing mission-critical government projects. Your daily responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating design documentation, and developing workflows and integrations using Developer Studio and Innovation Studio. You will build forms, fields, and data import files for Foundation and Transactional Data, while also developing RestAPI, WebService, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems. The role requires expertise in BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher, ITIL methodologies, and SaaS or AWS Cloud environments. Key technical tools include Pentaho Spoon, BMC HDM, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, and Visio. You will manage the full development lifecycle, including sprint planning, requirement gathering, and maintaining system integrity through configuration control to solve complex integration challenges within a remote team environment.

What you'll do

Develop workflows, forms, and fields using BMC Developer Studio and Innovation Studio.
Build RestAPI, WebService, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems.
Gather requirements and create technical documentation, including implementation guides and test scripts.
Manage the production environment by coordinating change requests and following configuration control practices.
Develop Digital Workplace Service Offerings to improve service delivery.
Identify gaps between out-of-the-box features and custom requirements to minimize unnecessary customization.
Manage sprint loads, forecast work products, and provide product demonstrations of completed items.
Provide technical guidance on application capabilities and integration options to customers and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret security clearance.
Must possess or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ CE certification within 3 months of start date.
A BS degree is required, though additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must have at least 5 years of software development experience.
Must have BMC Accredited Administrator status or commensurate Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience.
Experience with BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher and related application process flows is required.
Experience with SaaS solutions, AWS Cloud environments, ITIL methodologies (ITIL Foundation preferred), and Agile project methodology is required.
