As a BMC Remedy/Helix Developer, you will join the NESD Helix engineering team to support mission-critical government projects. You will provide technical guidance on application and integration capabilities while gathering requirements, creating design documentation, and developing test scripts. Your daily responsibilities include building forms, fields, and workflows in Developer Studio and Innovation Studio, as well as developing RestAPI, WebService, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems. The role requires expertise in BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher, ITIL methodologies, and SaaS or AWS Cloud environments. Key tools include Pentaho Spoon, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, and Visio. You will solve complex technical challenges by identifying gaps between out-of-the-box workflows and custom requirements to ensure system integrity.

What you'll do

Develop workflows, forms, and fields using BMC Developer Studio and Innovation Studio.
Build RestAPI, WebService, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems.
Gather requirements and create technical documentation including design guides and test scripts.
Create Digital Workplace Service Offerings and manage data import files for Foundation and Transactional data.
Identify gaps between out-of-the-box workflows and custom requirements to minimize system customization.
Manage the production environment by following configuration control practices and change management processes.
Execute sprint tasks, manage technical debt, and provide product demonstrations of completed features.
Provide technical guidance on application capabilities and coordinate change requests within service level agreements.

What we're looking for

US Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret security clearance.
CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required (may obtain within 3 months of start date).
A BS degree is required, though additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of software development experience is required.
Must have BMC Accredited Administrator or commensurate Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience.
Experience with BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher and related application process flows is required.
Experience with SaaS solutions, AWS Cloud environments, ITIL methodologies, and Agile project methodology is required.
