What you'll do

Bring up, test, characterize, and optimize real silicon in a laboratory environment.
Analyze and improve wireless MAC layer protocol efficiency regarding throughput, latency, and network performance.
Implement and validate MAC system models and algorithms to enable performance sign-off.
Define control procedures for MAC layer hardware modules to ensure robust performance.
Integrate MAC layer algorithms into the overall system architecture with PHY teams.
Work with firmware designers to implement high-efficiency software solutions or hardware acceleration.
Document design processes and provide detailed reports on performance outcomes for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Working knowledge of wireless systems with hands-on experience in lab testing and characterization.
Experience with Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and test-bench infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Bluetooth MAC layer protocols (preferred).
Hands-on experience with Bluetooth systems (preferred).
Experience crafting signal processing and wireless communications systems (preferred).
Knowledge of existing wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth/BLE (preferred).
Experience in silicon bring-up, lab equipment usage, modem architecture, SoC design, or HLS (preferred).
