What you'll do

Assess VMware vSphere environments to identify migration candidates and determine appropriate migration strategies.
Execute large-scale migrations of virtual machines and workloads from on-premises environments to AWS.
Implement and manage AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and other migration tools.
Design, build, and configure core AWS infrastructure components including VPC, EC2, IAM, and S3.
Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, and PowerShell.
Perform post-migration validation, troubleshooting, and stabilization during the hypercare period.
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks for migration activities.

What we're looking for

Must be authorized to work in the US.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience supporting VMware infrastructure environments.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
Proven experience leading or executing VMware-to-AWS migration projects using tools like AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and VMware PowerCLI.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Advanced Networking certifications (preferred).
