What you'll do

  • Lead discovery, assessment, sizing, and migration planning activities for AWS WorkSpaces.
  • Design migration waves, pilot deployments, cutover strategies, and rollback procedures.
  • Architect both persistent and non-persistent desktop environments based on workload personas.
  • Implement user profile persistence using FSLogix, Profile Containers, or Amazon FSx.
  • Establish an enterprise Golden Image strategy and manage the image lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS WorkSpaces, VPC, and IAM infrastructure.
  • Build automated CI/CD pipelines for image builds and infrastructure deployment via GitOps.
  • Automate compliance validation, testing, and release approvals within the deployment pipeline.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in AWS WorkSpaces design, including Personal (Persistent) and Pools (Non-Persistent).
  • Expertise in profile management technologies such as FSLogix, User Profile Disks, Profile Containers, and Amazon FSx.
  • Proficiency in App Layering technologies and application packaging.
  • Expert level proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 Enterprise image engineering and Golden Image management.
  • Ability to build CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and automated compliance validation.
  • CloudFormation experience (preferred).
