What you'll do

Build, enhance, and scale cloud-native applications on AWS using C#/.NET or Java.
Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems using MS SQL Server 2022.
Provide technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
Translate business challenges from Product Owners into effective technical solutions.
Conduct technical risk assessments and provide well-documented recommendations for issue resolution.
Mentor the team in developing comprehensive technical documentation according to SDLC guidelines.
Define governance, guardrails, and best practices for AI usage and design-to-development workflows.
Coordinate with Architecture, Data, and Infrastructure teams to optimize speed to market.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Strong C#/.NET experience is preferred; highly experienced Java engineers will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on AWS and cloud-native application development experience.
Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases.
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions, API-first design, and distributed systems.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, including solution design, code reviews, and mentoring.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools and familiarity with LLMs for code generation and debugging.
BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
