AVP-Member of Tech Staff (Agentic API) joins the Member of Technical Staff program to provide executive technical leadership for enterprise network software, OSS modernization, and AI-enabled systems. This role involves leading large multi-disciplinary organizations to drive technology modernization strategy, governance, and investment priorities across cloud-native platforms and real-time data environments. The individual will design and oversee the development of scalable APIs, automated network operations, and intelligent workflow orchestrations using RAG, LLM integration, and reasoning models. Key technical competencies include expertise in mobility, fiber, and optical networks alongside tools like Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Mule, Kong, Snowflake, Databricks, and ServiceNow. Candidates must possess a strong foundation in Python, Java, and DevOps automation to solve complex problems involving legacy-to-cloud transformations and large-scale system integrations within the telecommunications network technology domain.
Lead enterprise-wide technology modernization strategy, governance, and investment priorities for network software and cloud-native platforms.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
Master's degree in a related STEM field (desired).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical leadership across telecom architecture, OSS/API modernization, and platform design.
Demonstrated leadership of large, multi-disciplinary technical organizations driving AI-enabled modernization and agentic workflows.
Deep expertise in network software domains including Mobility RAN, IP networks, optical networks, and cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Strong programming and automation foundation in Python, Java, and infrastructure automation.
Demonstrated external technical credibility through patents, publications, conference speaking, or standards contributions.
Executive-level communication skills to influence strategy, align stakeholders, and manage workforce and investment strategies.
