AVP-Member of Tech Staff (Agentic API) joins the Member of Technical Staff program to provide executive technical leadership for enterprise network software, OSS modernization, and AI-enabled systems. This role involves leading large multi-disciplinary organizations to drive technology modernization strategy, governance, and investment priorities across cloud-native platforms and real-time data environments. The individual will design scalable architectures, manage integration frameworks, and oversee the development of agentic workflows involving LLM integration, RAG, and reasoning models. Key technical competencies include expertise in mobility, fiber, and optical networks alongside tools like Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Mule, Kong, Snowflake, Databricks, and ServiceNow. The role requires proficiency in Python and Java to support DevOps automation while solving complex problems related to legacy-to-cloud transformations and large-scale software engineering within the telecommunications network infrastructure.
Lead enterprise-wide technology modernization strategy across network software, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enabled systems.
Establish architecture visions, engineering standards, and integration frameworks aligned with business goals.
Direct the design and development of scalable platforms, real-time data pipelines, and distributed systems.
Drive the adoption of AI/ML, RAG, and LLM integrations to improve automation and operational efficiency.
Build internal engineering capabilities while reducing dependency on vendor-managed solutions.
Manage executive governance, investment prioritization, and roadmap sequencing across multiple organizations.
Lead large technical teams responsible for architecture, development, testing, and deployment.

What we're looking for
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in technical leadership across telecom architecture, OSS/API modernization, platform design, and systems integration.
Demonstrated leadership of large, multi-disciplinary technical organizations driving AI-enabled modernization including ML/AI, RAG, and LLM integration.
Deep expertise in network software domains including Mobility RAN, IP networks, optical networks, Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Mule, Kong, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Strong programming and automation foundation including Python, Java, cloud-native automation, and infrastructure automation.
Executive-level communication skills to influence strategy, align stakeholders, and manage workforce, investment, and vendor strategies.
Demonstrated external technical credibility through patents, publications, conference speaking, standards contributions, or partner engagements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
Master's degree in a related STEM field (desired).
