AV Production Technician

What you'll do

• Execute end-to-end technical production for live, hybrid, and virtual events including town halls and webcasts.
• Operate and troubleshoot AV systems such as audio consoles, video switchers, cameras, and control room equipment.
• Manage Dante audio networks by configuring routing, signal flow, and device configurations.
• Manage NDI video workflows involving IP-based video transport and encoder/decoder hardware.
• Provide technical support for streaming platforms and virtual meeting tools like Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
• Perform pre-event checks including equipment readiness assessments, signal testing, and room validation.
• Maintain auditoriums and control rooms featuring video walls and networked AV devices.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to manage equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree plus 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience is required.
• Experience supporting live, hybrid, and virtual event production in corporate, broadcast, or similar professional environments is required.
• Proficiency with professional audio systems including microphones, wireless systems, mixers, DSPs, and signal flow troubleshooting is required.
• Practical experience with Dante audio networks, including device setup, routing, and monitoring, is required.
• Experience with NDI video workflows, including hardware devices and IP-based video transport, is required.
• Experience supporting streaming platforms and collaboration tools like Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom in executive-facing environments is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.
