What you'll do

Lead a team to troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
Perform software control, troubleshooting, and programming for PLC and HMI systems.
Troubleshoot and replace electrical hardware including I/O modules, sensors, and motor controllers.
Develop practices to minimize downtime and increase the reliability of automated plant equipment.
Conduct test readings using oscilloscopes, signal generators, power monitors, and digital multimeters.
Interpret and follow complex electrical schematics to diagnose machine control systems.
Retrofit obsolete components and systems including controls and instrumentation.

What we're looking for

Associate’s degree or equivalent training in Electronics Technology.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
5 years of experience as an electronic technician for Automation Technician 3 level.
10 years of experience as an electronic technician for Automation Technician 4 level.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting machine control systems including PLCs, Servos, VFDs, RTDs, and TCs.
Ability to perform test readings using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and digital multimeters.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work in hazardous environments or at heights using man lifts.
