Associate Manager, DashMart - Network Strategy & Analytics joins the New Verticals Strategy & Operations team to drive network-wide performance through advanced analytics and product-enabled operational design. This role focuses on the DashMart first-party offering and third-party partnerships across grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail sectors. The individual will own forecast accuracy metrics end-to-end, identifying root causes of variance while building systematic tools and new forecasting approaches using AI tooling. Responsibilities include supporting labor planning, developing insights to resolve planning inefficiencies, and translating data into concrete product and process improvements. To succeed, the candidate must possess advanced SQL proficiency, a strong analytical background, and experience with modeling and data-driven forecasting. The role functions at the intersection of Strategy, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to ensure scalable systems for demand, labor, and inventory decisions within the logistics platform.
Own end-to-end forecast accuracy metrics by identifying root causes of variance and building systematic tools.
Develop new forecasting approaches using advanced analytics and AI-enabled tooling to predict demand and labor needs.
Translate analytical insights into concrete product requirements and operational changes for the DashMart platform.
Execute complex SQL queries to analyze data and evaluate the impact of planning improvements on costs and service levels.
Manage the broader labor planning process by identifying inefficiencies and driving measurable business outcomes.
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to test model changes and scale operational experiments.
Draft product requirements and support go-to-market efforts for new forecasting enhancements.
What we're looking for
You must have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.
You must have 4-6+ years of professional experience in fields such as product operations, advanced analytics, logistics, consulting, engineering, launch operations, or business operations.
You must have 4-6+ years of experience in advanced analytics, strategy, or data science-adjacent roles.
You must possess advanced SQL proficiency and a deep understanding of AI tooling.
You must be able to build models from scratch and use data to forecast outcomes.
You must demonstrate strong business acumen regarding how forecasting impacts cost, service levels, and network performance.
