JOB TITLE: Sr. Manager, Data Analyst - Network Compliance
The Sr. Manager, Data Analyst - Network Compliance joins the second line of defense to implement a framework for the network compliance program. This role involves performing key risk management functions for network and merchant businesses, providing compliance advice for global business processes, and serving as a subject matter expert. You will build and maintain data solutions, develop metrics and reporting for emerging markets, and mine complex data to identify trends and mitigate risks. Key responsibilities include collaborating with legal and audit peers to ensure adherence to risk management frameworks. Required technical skills include Python, R, Spark, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS. You will also utilize Tableau and manage data quality principles like metadata and lineage within a highly regulated payments industry context.
Mine complex, voluminous data sources using open-source and digital technologies to identify crucial information.
Build and maintain well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
Develop and execute metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide meaningful insights on business strategies.
Analyze existing risk management frameworks to identify trends in business and compliance data.
Drive adherence to data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
Consult on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems.
Develop and implement strategic tests for products, initiatives, and marketing materials.
Work with tech teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 7 years of data analytics experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience.
Must have at least 5 years of experience performing professional data analysis work.
Must have at least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
Must have at least 2 years of experience managing people.
Must have scripting experience in Python, R, Spark, and SQL.
Must have experience utilizing and developing within Snowflake services.
Master’s Degree or PhD in a Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field (preferred).
At least 3 years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR at least 3 years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments industry (preferred).
