Associate Manager, AI Research Lab Strategy & Operations

What you'll do

• Own revenue-driving AI initiatives as the accountable business owner to link technical progress with financial outcomes.
• Lead business planning cycles by developing go-to-market strategies, project plans, and resource allocations for AI products.
• Develop new business metrics and data-driven measurement frameworks to track performance across different geographies.
• Build scalable AI foundations including evaluation datasets, safety guardrails, and monitoring systems for foundation models.
• Operationalize frontier technologies from external partners into production-ready systems and revenue-generating product capabilities.
• Drive AI adoption by providing non-technical teams with enterprise tools, workflows, and experimentation sandboxes.
• Lead rapid experimentation cycles to validate product-market fit and measure tangible business impact.
• Partner with merchants and engineering teams to translate workflow pain points into AI-native product opportunities.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in finance, management consulting, business operations, business analytics, or high-growth/early-stage startup environments.
• Exceptional communication and operational skills to partner with merchants, sales, and support teams.
• Strong analytical thinking skills to extract actionable recommendations and measurement frameworks from frontier AI research.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tooling like Claude Codex, Codex, and Cursor in day-to-day work.
• Direct experience productizing LLM/ML systems is a strong plus (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree.
