Associate Engineer, Vending Machine Services

What you'll do

• Maintain and extend the programming of motors and controllers within car vending machines.
• Develop web and mobile applications to improve user experiences for employees and customers.
• Troubleshoot and operate complex electromechanical systems across electrical, mechanical, and process control domains.
• Design practical and useful Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for machine operation.
• Support other teams in the Vending Machine Services department with technical troubleshooting.
• Manage projects and assignments by coordinating with plant engineers, external vendors, and management.
• Travel to various locations across the country to service and maintain vending machines.

What we're looking for

• Experience with PLC-based motion control systems like Beckhoff TwinCAT is required.
• Knowledge of VFD motors and control equipment such as SEW EuroDrive is required.
• Familiarity with low voltage control circuits, sensors, detectors, limit switches, and I/O systems is required.
• Understanding of fieldbus operations including CANbus, EtherCAT, and Profinet is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot solutions across electrical, mechanical, and process control domains is required.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for development is considered a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 70 pounds independently.
