Associate Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data architecture and management systems for modern cloud environments.
• Build, optimize, and manage ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines to process batch and real-time data.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing to ensure information integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and resolve inconsistencies within complex, unstructured datasets.
• Create visual dashboards and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for client marketing and operations.
• Translate client requirements into technical solution requirements and defined operational use cases.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field like Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering is preferred.
• Ability to incorporate various statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Basic understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, and Scala to build data pipelines.
• Ability to use ETL/ELT tools and technologies like Linux, SQL, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Experience with data warehouse design, analytics pipelines, and capstone data engineering projects.
• Preferred skills include dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD basics, and GenAI literacy.
