Associate Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data architecture and management systems for modern cloud environments.
• Build, optimize, and manage ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines to process batch and real-time data.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing to ensure information integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and resolve technical issues within complex, unstructured datasets.
• Create visual dashboards and reports to communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for client marketing and operations.
• Translate client business requirements into specific technical solution requirements and operational models.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Ability to incorporate various statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Ability to use programming languages like Java, Python, or Scala to build data pipelines.
• Ability to use ETL tools and technologies including Linux, SQL, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Experience with data warehouse design, analytics pipelines, and capstone data engineering projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% based on project requirements.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD basics (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as SnowProCore, Databricks Data Engineer Associate, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer (preferred).
• GenAI literacy including prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning (preferred).
