The Assistant Vice President -Observability Engineering leads the Operations Monitoring team to oversee enterprise-wide monitoring strategy and platform engineering. This role involves developing operational intake processes, managing incident support, and overseeing the design and documentation of enterprise monitoring platforms to improve system reliability and performance. The successful candidate will manage production incident activities, establish resource plans, and implement governance policies across hybrid and cloud-based technology ecosystems. Key technologies include Dynatrace, AWS, ELK, SolarWinds, Grafana, and ServiceNow, alongside experience with AWS Lambda, Fargate, Glue, and EC2. The role requires expertise in Site Reliability Engineering practices, data communications, and middleware like Kafka and MuleSoft. Lead, coach, and develop the Operations Monitoring team to ensure high performance and accountability.

What we're looking for
10+ years of experience managing and directing IT operations, including infrastructure planning and development.
Dynatrace Administrator Certification.
Experience with Dynatrace, AWS, ELK, systems design, enterprise applications, and Agile development practices.
Experience monitoring cloud computing technologies including AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, AWS Glue, and Amazon EC2.
Experience with observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and technologies.
In-depth knowledge of IT practices, trends, and operating policies within the financial services industry.
Cross-platform experience and certifications in cloud, Windows Server, Linux/AIX, networking, virtualization, database, and storage technologies (preferred).
Experience with metrics, logging, observability platforms, ITOM integrations, AIOps platforms, and middleware/data service technologies (preferred).
