What you'll do

Interpret and implement security guidance based on ICDs, SEADs, NISPOM rules, and DoDM policies.
Manage personnel security programs including SCI/SAP access validation, polygraph requests, and security briefings.
Oversee physical security operations such as badging, access control, and SCIF facility documentation.
Provide classification guidance to program managers regarding travel reporting, visit certifications, and proposal support.
Ensure the secure handling, transportation, and destruction of classified materials.
Investigate security incidents and prepare required reports for government agencies.
Maintain personnel security records in systems like SIMS, DISS, and JADE.
Manage classified material accountability records including inventory lists and transmittal documentation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent education and work experience.
At least 1-2 years of experience working with special programs in an ACSSO role.
DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to maintain Special Program access.
Knowledge of interpreting security guidance based on ICDs, SEADs, 32 CFR Part 117, and DoDM 5205.07.
Experience in Personnel Security, Physical Security, and program OPSEC/P2 planning.
Ability to manage and maintain records in systems such as SIMS, DISS, and JADE.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with government security counterparts.
