Artificial Intelligence Innovation Development Program (AIIDP) - Start Date: July 12, 2027 is a multi-year development program for early-career talent within the AI Innovation Office. As an Associate, you will function as an AI Product Builder in a fast-moving, R&D-style environment to move ideas from concept to working solutions. You will manage the full product lifecycle by identifying high-value problems, prototyping solutions, and iterating based on stakeholder feedback to address real-world healthcare challenges. The role requires applying analytics, data science, and machine learning techniques while utilizing AI-assisted builder tools like Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Lovable to accelerate development. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and application building. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate emerging generative AI capabilities into measurable outcomes within the healthcare domain.
Build AI-powered solutions by applying analytics, data science, and machine learning techniques to healthcare problems.
Manage the full product development lifecycle from initial problem framing to prototype creation and iteration.
Translate abstract ideas into functional tools and working solutions for use in real-world settings.
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, prototyping, and experimentation during the development process.
Partner with business leaders and domain experts to identify opportunities and define project requirements.
Operate in ambiguous environments to test, learn, and adapt ideas based on stakeholder feedback.
Develop products that utilize healthcare data while adhering to established governance and safety standards.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, AI, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Equivalent quantitative degrees with relevant software development experience are acceptable.
Experience working with data and/or programming through coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar tools for working with data or building applications.
Exposure to analytics, machine learning, or AI concepts through coursework or projects.
Demonstrated track record using AI-assisted builder tools like Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Lovable for rapid prototyping and 0→1 development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners.
