The Applied Data Solutions Program, Internships – Summer 2027 offers students the opportunity to work across various teams including machine learning engineering, software engineering, data science, and AI development. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to design, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade systems and tools while managing large, complex datasets to create actionable insights. You will apply predictive modeling, generative AI techniques, and large language model integration to develop end-to-end operational solutions and real-time decisioning pipelines. Required skills include proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, or C++, along with knowledge of data structures, machine learning algorithms, and the software development lifecycle. Preferred technical competencies include experience with SQL, Spark, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and cloud-based data platforms to solve complex problems within a production environment.
Design, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade systems and tools alongside engineering teams.
Apply data analysis, predictive modeling, and generative AI techniques to maintain end-to-end operational solutions.
Analyze large, complex datasets to develop analytical models and extract actionable insights.

What we're looking for
Pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, Java, C++, or equivalent.
Practical experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning through coursework, projects, or internships.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, data modeling, data structures, and machine learning algorithms.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Experience with data querying tools like SQL or Spark to extract insights from large-scale datasets.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud-based data platforms.
Exposure to LLMs, generative AI, or applied AI product development.
