Supervise and delegate responsibilities to assigned personnel and assistant area managers.
What we're looking for
Must have a BA/BS in a related field, or an AA/AS with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of directly related experience.
Minimum of four years of shipboard repair experience in a public or private shipyard (preferred).
Minimum of four years of experience managing technical personnel within complex activities or shipboard availabilities.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and navigating a computer server environment.
Must possess a valid driver's license with reliable, insurable transportation.
Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC) or DBIDS badge.
Experience working within a Cost Type or Fixed Type contract is a plus.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator and work in physically demanding environments like drydocks and confined spaces.
