Applications Engineer, 3D X-ray Systems

What you'll do

• Identify complex customer problems and manage the full work cycle until a solution is implemented.
• Lead recipe creation to optimize system performance and train other engineers on recipe development.
• Conduct system demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective customers at sites, conferences, and trade shows.
• Develop and optimize imaging and analysis workflows for 3D X-ray technology applications.
• Perform tool characterization and baseline performance evaluations for new technologies and features.
• Deliver customer training on system operation, workflows, and data analysis.
• Analyze and transfer new application capabilities from the product division to the customer support team.
• Create new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific customer applications.

What we're looking for

• BS or MS degree in a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on experience designing and conducting experiments with the ability to analyze and communicate results.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Background in microscopy or related imaging techniques (preferred).
• Experience performing system demonstrations in a commercial or customer-facing environment (preferred).
• Foundational understanding of X-ray absorption principles and imaging/optical fundamentals (preferred).
