Applications Engineer

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Bosch and automotive OEMs at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in electrical, electronic, and software systems using CAN systems.
• Conduct rigorous physical testing in laboratory and field environments using test vehicles.
• Communicate technical findings and project status through professional presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide field feedback on innovative automotive technologies to global cross-functional teams.
• Perform vehicle ADAS integration, functional validation, and performance evaluation during on-road and controlled testing.
• Support radar hardware and software through calibration, diagnostics, and validation activities.
• Resolve field issues from concept development through production and launch.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering).
• 3+ years of experience in mobility-based controls/systems engineering with Control Area Network systems experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Automotive OEM applications and processes.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills for internal teams and customer audiences.
• 3+ years of experience in vehicle-level calibration of radio frequency technologies (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in the field of Digital Key applications (preferred).
