What you'll do

Manage and lead one or more Applications Development teams to achieve established goals.
Perform personnel duties including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Provide technical oversight across multiple applications and systems using deep domain knowledge.
Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for various projects.
Formulate strategies for application development and related functional areas.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and day-to-day staff management issues.
Define standards and ensure essential procedures are followed by the team.
Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies.

What we're looking for

Must possess senior-level experience in an Applications Development role.
Experience as an Applications Development Manager is preferred.
6+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry is preferred.
Proficiency in Java and building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot is required.
Experience with Docker for containerizing applications and Kubernetes for orchestration is required.
Knowledge of Micro-Frontend architecture and reusable UI components is required.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, while a Master’s degree is preferred.
Preferred skills include stakeholder management, project management, and knowledge of OCR/AI technologies.
