What you'll do

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure technical solutions for OTC clearing platforms.
  • Manage major delivery workstreams from inception through production deployment while balancing technical debt and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive engineering excellence by improving software development lifecycle practices, automation, and code quality.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern platform engineering capabilities.
  • Improve platform reliability and operational readiness through enhanced monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
  • Provide technical guidance and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with firmwide standards.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a strong culture of technical excellence across global teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and application development.
  • Experience leading complex engineering initiatives in large-scale, distributed environments.
  • Proven track record delivering strategic technology projects from design through implementation.
  • Experience leading technical teams or major project workstreams involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in designing scalable enterprise applications using distributed systems, messaging technologies, event-driven architectures, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience within OTC derivatives, clearing, post-trade processing, or related capital markets domains (preferred).
