Applications Administrator

What you'll do

• Maintain and optimize enterprise applications and systems infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for laboratory and business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application support issues across the organization.
• Execute system changes and deployments following established procedures.
• Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance to ensure maximum uptime.
• Maintain critical technical documentation for IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to resolve issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (preferred).
• General understanding of Windows Server and Linux administration, including directory structures and services.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL query writing.
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in system configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and be stationary for extended periods.
