What you'll do

Monitor and troubleshoot production incidents to ensure the reliability of critical business applications.
Resolve performance issues, batch processing failures, and middleware problems across the enterprise technology landscape.
Develop and implement technical solutions and code enhancements to support business objectives.
Analyze system logs, metrics, and traces to identify service degradation and outage conditions.
Define technical specifications and standards to ensure scalable and sustainable application infrastructure.
Manage risks associated with business activities in accordance with organizational compliance standards.
Follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices for the development, testing, and deployment of system improvements.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during high-severity incident response and service restoration.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience is required.
Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, C++, or others listed in the posting.
Basic understanding of mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and z/OS.
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker containers, and microservice-based applications.
2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, or production environments.
Experience in high-severity incident response, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar service restoration environments.
ITIL Foundation certification and Azure or AWS certifications are preferred.
