The AOC AppTX Cloud Engineer SME joins the Application Transformation team to support the Air Operations Center Weapon System program. Migrate and integrate legacy and third-party applications into cloud environments using DevSecOps tools.
Provide technical leadership for architecture definition, requirement analysis, and infrastructure design in Agile environments.
Manage the integration and operation of core services like Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and ArcGIS.
Oversee the deployment of container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Istio, and service mesh.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia1C) using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate deployments.
Maintain system security by applying patches and ensuring compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) conditions.
Lead cross-functional engineering teams through proposal, design, and delivery phases of product development.
Support business development activities by authoring proposal volumes and technical solution narratives for future contracts.
What we're looking for
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret security clearance is required; TS/SCI eligibility is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field (preferred).
10+ years of relevant experience are required.
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or systems integration are required.
3+ years of direct experience with cloud migration, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) are required.
Experience in infrastructure design for cloud-native and hybrid architectures at IL5/IL6 classification levels is required.
Experience supporting DevSecOps security procedures including testing and accreditation support is required.
