What you'll do

Deploy, harden, and troubleshoot Windows applications on Windows Server and IIS including .NET workloads.
Manage SQL Server databases across both on-premises instances and Amazon RDS environments.
Define AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform to create reusable modules and patterns.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild for safe deployments.
Configure AWS load balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to protect applications.
Instrument the platform with dashboards, service level objectives, and automated alerts.
Migrate and modernize legacy Windows workloads from on-premise infrastructure to AWS.
Automate routine operational tasks into self-service capabilities for developers and application owners.

What we're looking for

BA/BS or equivalent degree and six to eight years of related experience, including at least three years of hands-on AWS experience.
Minimum of five years of experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and troubleshooting applications on Windows Server and IIS.
Demonstrated experience authoring Terraform from scratch, including modules, remote state, and lifecycle management.
Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon RDS for SQL Server, including performance tuning and migrations.
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or AWS CodeBuild with Git-based workflows.
Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, plus Python or Bash.
Experience managing TLS/SSL certificates for web servers and through AWS Certificate Manager.
Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust (T3) security clearance.
