What you'll do

Deploy, harden, and troubleshoot Windows applications on Windows Server and IIS.
Administer SQL Server databases across on-prem instances and Amazon RDS.
Define AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform modules and state management.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild.
Configure AWS load balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules.
Instrument the platform with dashboards, service level objectives, and alerts.
Migrate and modernize Windows workloads from on-prem infrastructure to AWS.
Automate routine operational tasks into self-service capabilities for developers.

What we're looking for

BA/BS or equivalent degree and six to eight years of related experience.
Minimum of three years hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, SSM, and CloudTrail.
Minimum of five years hands-on experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and troubleshooting applications on Windows Server 2019-2025 and IIS.
Demonstrated experience authoring Terraform from scratch, including modules, remote state, and lifecycle management.
Strong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon RDS for SQL Server, including performance tuning and migrations.
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or AWS CodeBuild with Git-based workflows.
Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, plus Python or Bash.
Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust security clearance.
