Antenna & RF Engineer, Amazon Leo Antenna Development

What you'll do

• Design and optimize antenna and array architectures including element selection, lattice, and beam-forming strategies.
• Own end-to-end RF performance from ADC/DAC through the RF front-end to antenna radiation.
• Use EM and RF design tools like HFSS or CST to simulate element performance and mutual coupling.
• Define and maintain antenna specifications at the module, aperture, and system levels.
• Support prototype builds, bring-up, and test campaigns including chamber and over-the-air validation.
• Provide DFM and DFT feedback for antenna boards, modules, and test fixtures.
• Develop and deploy code to support testing, simulation, and validation of antenna systems.
• Write design reports and test summaries to present results to leadership and cross-functional partners.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Ph.D. degree in antenna, EM and related fields (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in antenna design, RF system design, or front end design.
• Experience in MATLAB or Python.
• Experience with mainstream antenna simulation tools such as CST or HFSS.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
