As an AI/ML Sr Architect at the Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs), you will embed with clients to shape their AI agent foundation by designing reference architectures and custom frameworks across cloud providers like Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, and Anthropic Claude. Your daily tasks include leading architecture workshops, evaluating technologies for full-stack AI platforms, building financial-viability models, and designing scalable, secure, and performant systems on public, private, or sovereign clouds. You will also design knowledge architectures, reusable AI components, and solution patterns to ensure repeatable engagement delivery while driving MLOps pipelines and ensuring observability and governance. This role requires extensive experience in Python, Java, cloud-native AI services, open-source technologies, and hands-on expertise with agentic orchestration tools and generative AI platforms.

What you'll do

  • Architect enterprise-ready AI agent systems for scalability and security.
  • Lead architecture workshops with clients to finalize requirements and TCO.

  • Design architectural blueprints including multi-agent, runtime, governance layers.
  • Create knowledge architectures enabling AI agents at enterprise scale.
  • Architect custom agent frameworks across cloud providers like Amazon Bedrock.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Python or Java.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience with key AI technologies from public cloud providers and open source.
  • Proven track record of designing, engineering, and operationalizing large-scale AI/ML solutions on major public clouds.
  • Extensive experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) and agentic orchestration tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing scaled Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing Agentic AI and Generative AI platforms used by multiple AI solutions.
