As an AI Native Engineer Manager - Reinvention Center, you will join the Advanced Technology Centers team to design, build, and run custom AI agents that automate workflows and scale across modern infrastructure. You will act as both a technologist and trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to prototype and deploy robust agentic systems in complex enterprise environments like finance or healthcare. To succeed, you must possess expertise in Python or Java, cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, and experience with RAG and context engineering. What you'll do

Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, and lifecycle observability.
Develop abstraction layers across multiple AI providers to enable seamless integration into client systems.
Build scalable, cloud-native AI systems using containerization, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Tailor and deploy agentic applications to solve specific problems in sectors like finance, healthcare, and retail.
Lead design workshops and proof-of-concept sessions with stakeholders to define and build data-driven workflows.
Establish evaluation plans and metrics to measure agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
Create reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices to influence internal assets and client roadmaps.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years experience programming in Python, Java, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years experience deploying to production using CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), and monitoring tools.
Minimum of 5 years experience with client communication, including leading technical workshops and delivering under ambiguity.
Minimum of 3 years engineering experience with cloud-native systems including APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
Minimum of 3 years experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, and open-source models.
Minimum of 1 year expertise in designing and deploying agentic solutions like RAG and orchestration in production environments.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).
Associate Degree with a minimum of 6 years work experience.
