Senior AI Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer Manager

What you'll do

• Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents featuring retrieval, orchestration, and lifecycle observability.
• Architect AI-native solutions on the Databricks platform using Mosaic AI, Vector Search, and MLflow.
• Establish Lakehouse data foundations using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog to power production AI.
• Develop abstraction layers across multiple AI providers like Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI.
• Build and manage MLOps and LLMOps pipelines with CI/CD for the full model lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders to define use cases and prototype agentic workflows.
• Conduct design workshops and proof of concept sessions with client stakeholders across various industries.
• Define metrics to measure AI agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 10 years of experience on Databricks and large-scale big data projects including Delta Lake, DLT, Apache Spark, and Unity Catalog.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages.
• Minimum 10 years of experience deploying and operating production systems with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability tooling.
• Minimum 1 year of experience designing and shipping agentic AI solutions in production.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with agentic orchestration tools such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with AI platforms including OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, and open-source models.
• Experience building RAG and multi-agent systems on the Databricks Intelligence Platform using Mosaic AI, Vector Search, and MLflow.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience) or an Associate Degree with at least 6 years of work experience.
