The AI/ML Delivery Engineer is a senior practitioner who designs, builds, and scales enterprise AI, ML, and data products across cloud environments. Working within the Data Science and Data Engineering team, you will architect and deliver end-to-end solutions including generative AI chat, agentic workflows, predictive ML, computer vision, and medical AI imaging. You will manage the full lifecycle of model development, from feature engineering and deployment to MLOps, LLMOps, and ModelOps practices like CI/CD, versioning, and drift monitoring. The role requires expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed data processing, and large language models. Key technical competencies include analytics, solution architecture, and end-to-end testing. You will solve complex problems in the biomedical research domain by delivering secure, governed solutions to improve operational efficiency and accelerate data-driven decision-making for human health.
Architect and deliver end-to-end AI/ML and generative AI solutions including data integration, model development, and deployment.
Design scalable, secure, and governed AI architectures using cloud-native services and distributed computing.
Develop production-ready applications for large language models, intelligent search, and automated workflows.
Establish MLOps, LLMOps, and ModelOps practices for CI/CD, model versioning, and performance monitoring.
Define responsible AI controls for privacy, security, bias assessment, and handling of sensitive data like PHI/PII.
Serve as the technical authority for cross-functional teams regarding infrastructure trade-offs and AI readiness assessments.
Mentor engineers and data scientists while communicating complex technical concepts to executive leadership.
Support solutioning activities by shaping technical approaches and estimating delivery patterns for client responses.
What we're looking for
Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of related experience.
Experience with modern enterprise data platforms and cloud-native data architectures including distributed processing and governance.
Production experience developing and deploying AI/ML and generative AI solutions like LLM applications and workflow automation.
Experience using modern machine learning and deep learning frameworks, libraries, and tools for model development and deployment.
Experience managing AI/ML solutions in major cloud environments including identity management, networking, and security.
Experience working with large, complex, or regulated datasets in government or healthcare environments.
Security clearance level : Must be able to obtain a Tier 3 Public Trust.
