As an AI Solutions Engineer on the Advanced Growth Technologies team, you will serve as a subject matter expert for AI infrastructure and platforms. You will support presales activities by designing, configuring, and recommending tailored solutions based on NVIDIA DGX systems and OEM platforms. Your daily responsibilities include translating business requirements into optimized hardware designs, creating detailed Bills of Materials, and conducting technical consultations to address training, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. You will utilize technologies including GPU-accelerated computing, InfiniBand, Ethernet, NVMe storage, and software stacks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. The role focuses on solving complex data center challenges by integrating hardware, power, and cooling requirements into scalable architectures. You will also build technical relationships with partners, provide product training to sales teams, and deliver proofs of concept for various AI-driven infrastructure projects.
Design and configure tailored AI data center solutions using NVIDIA DGX systems and OEM platforms for training and inference workloads.
Create detailed hardware configurations, including server, storage, networking, and GPU components, while ensuring power and cooling requirements are met.
Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to provide customers with precise infrastructure specifications and cost-efficiency analysis.
Conduct discovery sessions and technical consultations to translate complex business requirements into optimized infrastructure designs.
Deliver technical presentations, proofs of concept (POCs), and solution demonstrations to both internal teams and external clients.
Support the sales cycle by responding to RFIs/RFPs and addressing technical objections during customer meetings.
Build and maintain technical relationships with AI OEMs and partners to stay current on product roadmaps and emerging technologies.
Provide training and education to internal sales teams regarding AI infrastructure trends, products, and technical selling strategies.
What we're looking for
Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
5+ years of experience in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting focused on data center infrastructure.
Proven expertise with NVIDIA DGX systems, GPU technologies (e.g., CUDA, NCCL), and AI data center platforms.
Hands-on experience with OEM AI server platforms and configuring AI-optimized solutions.
Strong knowledge of data center components including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
Experience creating BOMs, sizing infrastructure for AI workloads, and performing cost/performance analysis.
Intermediate ability to design data center infrastructures including hybrid cloud, SDDC, automation, and containerization.
Certifications in NVIDIA or relevant vendor technologies (preferred); familiarity with AI software stacks like TensorFlow or PyTorch (preferred).
