As the AI Security Architecture- VP, you will join the Global Cybersecurity team to lead the design and oversight of secure architecture patterns, reference architectures, standards, and guardrails for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI solutions across the enterprise. You will be responsible for building secure data pipelines, model access protocols, APIs, agents, and retrieval-augmented generation systems while performing threat modeling to mitigate risks like prompt injection and data leakage. The role requires expertise in cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, CI/CD, identity and access management, and security automation. You will collaborate with engineering, product security, and data teams to ensure AI capabilities are secure by design and compliant with NIST, ISO, and FFIEC standards. This position addresses the critical challenge of enabling safe AI adoption while protecting sensitive data and ensuring regulatory readiness in a complex enterprise environment.
Design and implement secure architecture patterns for AI, machine learning, and generative AI systems including data pipelines and APIs.
Define and maintain enterprise AI security reference architectures, technical standards, and guardrails.
Lead architecture and design reviews to ensure security and privacy requirements are integrated early in the solution lifecycle.
Perform AI-focused threat modeling to address risks like prompt injection, data leakage, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
Translate identified technical risks into practical security requirements, mitigation strategies, and risk-based architecture decisions.
Embed AI security controls into software development, DevSecOps, and model deployment workflows.
Develop validation criteria and repeatable assurance patterns for AI platforms and third-party services.
Ensure all AI security designs align with internal policies and external regulatory standards like NIST and ISO.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Advanced degree (preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including security architecture, application security, product security, cloud security, or security engineering.
CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, cloud security, architecture, or comparable industry certifications (preferred).
Expertise in AI/ML architectures, generative AI, data pipelines, APIs, and DevSecOps.
Experience performing threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure-by-design programs in complex enterprise environments.
Ability to communicate technical risks and architectural decisions to engineering teams and senior leadership.
Experience securing enterprise-scale platforms in regulated environments while establishing reusable architecture standards.
