AI Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and maintain AI/ML-driven threat detection and response capabilities across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network environments.
• Defend against AI-enabled attacks such as prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, and adversarial machine learning.
• Engineer and tune high-fidelity detections within SIEM and other security platforms for improved precision.
• Implement security controls for AI systems including training data protection, inference security, and model access.
• Translate enterprise security policies into enforceable technical controls specifically for AI workloads.
• Map AI security capabilities to industry frameworks like NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP AI/LLM Top 10.
• Lead proof-of-concept efforts to apply AI to detection engineering and security automation.
• Research emerging AI threat techniques and develop corresponding preventive and detective controls.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, detection engineering, or security operations.
• Demonstrated experience using AI or ML techniques in security use cases.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and data security.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms, telemetry pipelines, and detection engineering tools.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-quality security capabilities.
• Experience securing large language models (LLMs) or AI platforms in production environments.
• Scripting or automation experience using Python or PowerShell.
