AI Agent Developer
The AI Agent Developer joins the Data & Analytics organization and AI Center of Excellence within the Corporate Payments division. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying enterprise AI Agents to solve operational challenges in the Payables business. The developer will build intelligent solutions using large language models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, and workflow automation while creating reusable development patterns and training materials for internal teams. Key responsibilities include building RAG solutions, managing vector stores, integrating systems via APIs, and implementing guardrails against risks like hallucinations or data leakage. Technical requirements include proficiency in Python, SQL, and REST APIs, along with experience using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or LangChain. The role addresses the need for scalable, production-ready AI tools to improve productivity and decision support within high-volume payables operations.
Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI agents and LLM-powered applications to solve operational challenges.
Build RAG solutions using corporate documents, databases, vector stores, and other approved data sources.
Integrate AI agents with company systems through APIs, SDKs, and various connection methods.
Create reusable development patterns, templates, and frameworks to scale AI capabilities across the organization.
Develop automated evaluation methods and "golden datasets" to measure accuracy, cost, and performance.
Implement security guardrails to mitigate risks such as hallucinations, prompt injection, and data leakage.
Create training materials and provide coaching to help non-technical teams build their own AI solutions.
Translate ambiguous business requirements into technical specifications and production-ready AI workflows.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of relevant experience in AI application development, automation, machine learning, data engineering, software development, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI, LLM-powered, automation, or intelligent application solutions.
Strong application-development skills using Python and experience with REST APIs, JSON, SDKs, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise integrations.
Experience working with one or more LLM platforms/APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable technologies.
Proficiency in designing RAG solutions, vector search, and agentic AI concepts including multi-step workflows and tool-enabled agents.
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL to enable applications to consume and reason across structured enterprise data.
Strong software engineering practices including modular design, version control (Git), testing, and production support.
Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or Microsoft Copilot Studio (preferred).
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or other enterprise cloud and analytics platforms (preferred).
Experience designing automated evaluation frameworks, LLM-as-judge approaches, or golden datasets (preferred).
Experience delivering technical training, coaching, or enablement programs for developers and business users (preferred).
