What you'll do

Maintain day-to-day communication and network security operations for secure infrastructures like SIPRNet.
Design, build, and test network engineering solutions in compliance with project management processes.
Lead major projects involving routing protocols, firewalls, datacenter protocols, and network virtualization.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, and video teleconferencing components.
Implement US government COMSEC/NIST standards and program KG-175 TACLANE Encryptors.
Administer physical and virtual server operating systems, including software patching and performance monitoring.
Analyze and determine corrective actions for secure data communications networks.
Install new software and manage application permissions across the network.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8 years of experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Must meet DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher, including CompTIA Security+ within 6 months.
Minimum CCNA certification (CCNP preferred).
Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure, including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR, ASA, and NGFW.
Experience with TACLANE Encrypters, TCP/IP, BGP, AAA systems, and PKI.
Familiarity with STIGs, NIST SP 800-171/800-53, and ACAS/ESS certifications (preferred).
