Senior Network & Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Maintain and secure multiple secure network infrastructures including SIPRNet.
• Design, build, and test network engineering solutions to improve existing technologies.
• Lead project initiatives involving routing protocols, firewalls, datacenter protocols, and network virtualization.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, and video teleconferencing components.
• Implement government COMSEC/NIST standards and manage KG-175 TACLANE Encryptors.
• Perform server administration for physical and virtual operating systems including patching and performance monitoring.
• Analyze secure data communications networks to determine and implement corrective actions.
• Manage system compliance by implementing Linux and Windows security controls.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience are required.
• CCNP certification is preferred; CCNA is the minimum requirement.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure components is required.
• Experience with TACLANE Encrypters and various security protocols like BGP, PKI, and AAA systems is required.
• Familiarity with NIST standards, STIGs, and implementing Linux/Windows security controls is required.
• ACAS or ESS certification is required, or must be obtainable within a short period.
