ADMS Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements and operational workflows into technical solution designs and implementation plans.
• Perform peer reviews of technical designs, code, and deployment artifacts to ensure cybersecurity compliance and standards.
• Troubleshoot escalated support issues by conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance and manage the deployment of new features, patches, and upgrades across environments.
• Conduct system troubleshooting including log analysis, configuration validation, and trace reviews to resolve technical issues.
• Perform workstation and server patching for Windows and Linux systems while maintaining environment readiness.
• Support application interface testing for SCADA, OMS, GIS, and other integrated utility data platforms.
• Create and manage operational reports and Power BI dashboards to support decision-making processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting or implementing Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), SCADA, OMS, DMS, or related utility operational technologies.
• Knowledge of utility operations, grid management systems, and real-time operational environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software, hardware, network, and system integration issues including log analysis and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration, including command-line operations and VMware vCenter virtualization tools.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as IP/LAN configurations, firewalls, and network topology diagrams.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and enterprise security standards.
• Experience working in fast-paced operational or utility environments (preferred).
