The 2027 Associate Classified Cybersecurity Analyst joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team to support information system lifecycle activities. This role involves conducting system audits, continuous monitoring of security controls, and performing assessments of networks within specific enclaves to identify deviations from established policies. The analyst will validate security requirements, implement government policies, and manage risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes. Key responsibilities include participating in Security Test and Evaluation, preparing Risk Management Framework body of evidence, and conducting research on emerging technologies and hardware. Required skills include the ability to navigate complex program control processes and technical documentation. Preferred tools and frameworks include ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, SCAP, NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs. The role addresses critical security posture challenges within a classified environment to ensure robust information system integrity.
Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring to evaluate security controls and operational processes.
Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from enclave policies or local configurations.
Analyze established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards for information systems.
Implement government policies and provide recommendations on process tailoring.
Support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems through risk mitigation and coordination.
Perform research on emerging technologies, hardware releases, and software updates.
Execute Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including pre-test preparation and result analysis.
Document A&A activities and prepare Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for an Associate Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – Security+.
Must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years or be enrolled in the CE Program.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
Security+ CE (preferred).
Experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as Assessment & Authorization under RMF, and knowledge of tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP (preferred).
